Free Trans Care Packages for AZ Youth

Here, you can take the first step in showing your support for a trans youth you love 

(up to 17 years old), who lives in Arizona. You have the opportunity to order a specially curated care package filled with snacks, handwritten letters, cards of support, items from trans and queer-owned businesses like pronouns pins, and more. We have built 15 care packages tailored to empower and uplift young individuals in a time when it is hard, and dangerous to live authentically and open.

To place an order for a care package, simply fill out the form with general information and shipping details. Remember, orders must be placed by someone other than the trans youth themselves, ensuring that each package is a heartfelt gesture of support from their allies and loved ones.

Empowering Trans Youth: Valid USA Launches Care Package Initiative for Trans Day of Visibility

Arizona - March 2024 - Valid USA, thanks to the help of a grant written with El Rio Health, is proud to announce the launch of a new initiative aimed at supporting and empowering trans youth in Arizona for Trans Day of Visibility. Through this initiative, loved ones of trans youth in Arizona, aged 17 or younger, can order them a free, specially curated care package, filled with handwritten letters of encouragement, snacks, merch from trans and queer-owned businesses, and more.

Recognizing the challenges and grief faced by trans youth in today’s climate, Valid USA seeks to provide tangible support and encouragement. The care packages are designed to uplift, inspire, and provide a sense of belonging to trans youth.

It is important to note that orders for these care packages must be placed by someone other than the trans youth themselves. This requirement is put in place to ensure that the initiative serves as a gesture of love and support from their allies, loved ones, and Valid USA.

"This initiative is more than just a care package. It's a message of solidarity, love, and acceptance," said Alexander Switzer, Founder and CEO of Valid USA. "We understand the injustices faced by trans youth, such as Nex Benedict from Oklahoma, and the fear and grief that lingers over the community. I felt and still feel so helpless, so I wanted to find a way to try and provide these youth with a little bit of love. I hope our care packages make them feel supported, and empowered and serve as a reminder that they deserve to exist and take up space in this world."

Valid USA believes in the power of community and collective action to create a more inclusive and supportive environment for lgb-Transgender-qia+ individuals. Through initiatives like this, the organization hopes to show trans youth they are worthy of kindness and love, and that they have people in their corner cheering them on.
